Welcome and Introduction

Welcome to this blog! Thanks to EK's wonderful kindergarten teacher, I have been given numerous ideas to expand what is happening in her classroom and to explore a variety of fun activities together at home. This blog will serve as my one-stop resource for curriculum expansion ideas that tie together classroom activities, local events, and national and state standards for Kindergarten. As a stay-at-home mother, I am often overwhelmed by the resources available, and for my sanity, I will blog as a way to organize all that I am learning as the mother of a kindergarten kid!
